We're still here...
Just so you know, the northern branch of the Shipley clan is still here... we're just really, really busy. Barbara and Gracie are still in Lynchburg, preparing to come back tonight or tomorrow. I'm cleaning house tonight just in case.
I have been to Vegas on the James (Richmond) and back, but work has kept me hopping all week. I didn't close up the iBook of Mild Peril until well after midnight (work related, I assure you) for the past two nights.
Next week promises to be an outstanding one politically, but I'm sitting it out. Pending a few more loose ends, we'll be in the Volunteer State all week. Richmond can look after itself for a little while, or at least deal with some hands off supervision.
Now I just have to make it through the rest of this work day...
