Mini Party

As promised Gracie got a mini Valentine's party upon our return to Strasburg. There were many things to be opened and read and Gracie loved doing the holiday all over again. Although, I am not sure she really understands the concept of holidays and how they only last for a day. She still sometimes sees snow or something wintry and says "Look mama, Christmas!"

A big thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for sending more fun things for Gracie play with, and to Candice and Elliott & Lucie for the adorable Valentines and stickers.

Gracie also got her Valentine's gifts from mommy and daddy (which I didn't think to grab when we were packing to escape last week's ice storm): a pair of Blue's Clue's slippers and a Dora Valentine book.

I think Gracie had a wonderful time celebrating the holiday of "love" all through this month. I am sure she will be sad to see the treats and cards and presents end. But, her birthday is just around the corner!
