Lucky Momma

Amazingly enough, an errand to get gas actually full filled my daughters Christmastime wish--aren't I lucky.

Gracie has wanted the Milton Bradly game Lucky Ducks since they started showing the commercials around Christmas. I knew she wanted the game, but to me there was little educational value and so I chose other games.

Yesterday as I was running a few errands on my own, I passed by at least 6 yard sale signs for different locations around town. I passed by one going to get gas. I decided I would stop on the way back. Here is where I purchased the Lucky Ducks game (a much older version, but it great working order) for .50. I also got a Popsicle mold for a quarter. I knew Gracie would be thrilled.

I did go on to stop at another yard sale where I really racked up. I got a giant play barn, some stuffies, lots of books, and a My First LeapPad system with 6 books!!! All for $13. Gracie has had a blast, and all she can talk about are the lucky ducks. I snapped this picture this afternoon while Daddy, Gracie and I played one of 4 rounds of the quacky game.
