Preschool Christmas Party

Parties at school are so much fun!  And, Grace is the room mom this year, so I can have fun and not have to stress :)

The kids came back from a movie to see that their room was all ready for a craft and a snack.  They made hand print mittens for their trees and then moved on to what they wanted most: food!

Like usual, it took them forever to eat their goodies, but we finally coaxed last bites and led them into the music room for a fun way to exchange books.

Each child was responsible for bringing in one book to exchange with another child.  Grace had a brilliant idea to read a book and have the kids rotate books as a certain word was read in the hopes of heading off last years tears over musical chairs!

It took a few turns, but they finally all got the jist if the idea and in the end they ripped open their bags to find a book from a friend.

Thomas got a Curious George Christmas book from Nathan, and the truck book we brought in ended up with Bryce.

It is so fun to get to do these things at school. I will really miss how many times we get to participate when both kids are in big school.

The first and last picture are Grace's--she takes such good ones!
