Thanksgiving In Tennessee

We left Tuesday night instead of Wednesday morning/afternoon for the holiday like we planned, since the forecast for Tennessee was several inches of snow by morning. So, it was a long night, and a long full week with Mamaw & Papaw and Uncle Luke.  So, I figure I will just share the highlights.

Tuesday
it was a long 7 hour drive in the pouring rain and fog, but we made it.

Wednesday
it snowed several inches--enough to make a mini snowman and clean off the cars

...and nothing says a day for shopping like snow!

Thursday
Happy Thanksgiving & early Christmas!

Friday
off to see the lights and drive on the Bristol race track--win win for the guys and the kids

Saturday
a day full of football, and a brief present exchange via Skype with a sick Jolee

We hope that all of you had a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving as well!

  1. I'm so sorry that our kids weren't together! I think the sickness is finally out of our house. Elliott finally started to feel better yesterday. (His sore throat and headache started on Thanksgiving Day! So, that crud hangs on a few days).
