5th Grade Christmas Chorus Concert

Gracie has been bouncing all week in anticipation of her concert tonight and field trip tomorrow.

5th grade chorus is a voluntary activity and Mrs. Beard the music teacher requires they give up their recess on Wednesdays and rehearse with her.

Most of Gracie's all girl class is in the chorus this year, and Gracie is just loving it.

Tonight they put on a concert for the parents, and during school today they performed for grades 3 thru 5.

Tomorrow they will take a field trip to Stevie B's for lunch and caroling and then go to an adult center to sing for them as well.

She has been talking about maybe doing chorus again in Middle School--I think the Talent Show sparked the singing bug in our little girl.

We are super proud of her for trying new things and putting herself out there.

I am going to upload all the songs so Grandma (and whomever else) can listen to Gracie and her fellow 5th graders sing.
