Happy Birthday Jesus

Our church put on a super cute (and fun) birthday celebration for baby Jesus this evening.

Each family had a gingerbread house to decorate and plenty of pizza to eat. There were stations of crafts and activities including building nativity scenes, photo booth, making a marshmallow tower of Babel, and a cookie walk (think cake walk, but with cookies instead).

They stopped the activities briefly for a "Deck The Dads" event, and families decorated their dads on stage with as many tree decorations as possible during a timed "competition." Of course all the dads won a lovely ornament prize, but it was hilarious to watch.
