Head Of The Class

Yesterday I got to spend with three cuties, today, I got to spend some special time with my cutie!

I sent him in with money this morning to spend in the Holiday Shop for a gift for his sister. He wasn't so sure he wanted to spend money on his sister, so I decided I better go and "help" him after I got my grocery shopping done this morning.

I got the shopping done rather quickly, and actually got to school a little early. I couldn't go in the classroom though because they were making something Christmas-y for parents.  So, I hung out outside and then got drafted to help.  I loved it.  I helped Thomas and another child who missed school last week make hand print reindeer.  And, when I finished cleaning up, Mrs. Naff had a student open the door and I got to watch some learning!!

And, bonus points, Thomas got called to the board!  You know I was loving that moment! And my little smarty-pants was beaming as he got to show off for his mama (who totally pushed "video" on the camera!!)

Not long after my "proud mama" moment the 5 kids with money for the holiday shop walked down to the gym to make their purchases.

I helped steer Thomas in a good direction. And by "good direction" I mean something his sister--a girl--would like.  He was rather frustrated after I vetoed his spider ring and frog toy choices, but he ended up being happy with his final gifts.

We waited for Bryce and his other friends to finish buying for their siblings and family members and I walked them back to class.

I did another errand for the class, and got a second sneak peak at Thomas' day. He was proud to show me working on the computer before I gave him one final kiss and headed home.

I love days like this.  I love sharing in what he is doing. Gracie too. I really treasure the ability to come and go and volunteer for and with my kids.
