Pancake Breakfast Bar
I had a GREAT idea!
And, I think all 18 5th grade girls approved.
A pancake bar.
I had parents bring in tons of toppings and I made the pancakes. I pre-mixed a LOT of batter and brought in my spatula and new electric skillet. I didn't count how many I made, but lets just say it was a LOT.
The girls had whipped cream (the favorite), butter, strawberries, bananas, syrup, chocolate chips, and sprinkles to top their pancakes with.While I knew they would love this treat, I was not prepared for the mountains of mess these girls would create--and eat! I am not sure if they even tasted the pancakes under all of it!
They loved it none the less and as always were appreciative of the fun break in the school day. Plus, they got to wear pajamas to school that day as well.
This is such a great group of girls--I am truly going to miss them all next year!
