High Tea In 5th Grade
Now it's Gracie's turn for a spring celebration.
I am one exhausted mama having two school events in one day, but I feel pretty confident that both were successes!
I decided (since I am also Gracie's room mom ;) that the all girls class should have a spring tea party for their celebration.
I invited the girls to bring real tea cups (and I brought extras for those who may not have any), and we had fancy little sandwiches, and tiny cookies and fruit and tea.
But, to make it even better, I brought in table cloths and doilies and centerpieces and made the girls sit at mini tea tables to enjoy their tea and cookies.
Of course I also bored them with manners and etiquette, but who knows, maybe some of it stuck!
