Amazing Gifts
Kids love to get presents, but the truth is that they will more quickly than you want--stop playing with or wearing them and get bored.
A few times in a lifetime, truly special gifts come along that will last them for many many years--maybe even for the rest of their lives.
Thomas and Gracie both got such gifts this Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa.
Most people know know my father is a carpenter, but you may not know how much of a true craftsman he is.
For Thomas, a magnetic board made from an old L.G. Flint sign that will also hold his work hats. Thomas got to work with Grandpa twice this year on the job and it was a thrill of a lifetime!
Thomas also got a Nerf arsenal "holder" made from peg board and assembled on the wall behind his room in my sewing room.
For Gracie, a massive doll house for her American Girl dolls to be able to stand and sit and play. This is not only HUGE in the technical sense of the word, but HUGE as in a really big deal!! I won't even shock you with how much these houses are to purchase. The fact that Grandpa made it just for her makes it priceless anyway!
Tobias was more than spoiled as well, especially since it will also be his birthday--but he will have to wait a few more years for that super special gift from Grandpa--this year was for the big kids.
