Gracie Serves Communion
This is one of those days mamas live for.
Now that she is in 8th grade, Gracie is taking Confirmation classes at church each Sunday in preparation for joining the church in April.
The leaders of this years group thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to allow those 8th graders to serve communion this morning.
Being overwhelmingly shy, Gracie was a nervous wreck about participating this morning, but I made her a special dress (I got to use the embroidery machine!), and she had two other friends by her side. And most importantly--she did wonderfully!
