Slumber Party At Uncle Brian's

...almost.

Thomas was super excited to load up in Uncle Brian's new Jeep and go with him and Aunt Dawn to their house for an overnight adventure.

He grabbed the backpack mommy packed him, got his Chewey and picked a handful of cars--and they were on the road for his FIRST EVER night away from home.

I begged Aunt Dawn (and later Sue-Anna) to take pictures for me of this great boy adventure. They thankfully, took a few.

Apparently Aunt Dawn bought him a blue sucker and he enjoyed the ride to Danville.

HE picked out dinner for the night: Dino nuggets and macky-cheese.  HE decided he liked the military tanks, but wasn't excited about the idea of going inside the tank museum. HE wanted to go and play at Uncle Brian's house.

Clearly, my son, who already leads a charmed life, was king of the castle at Uncle Brian's.

And, while he wasn't crying--Uncle Brian could tell Thomas was a little apprehensive of his first ever night away from home, and ultimately decided to drive him back.

Grandpa met him half way so he wouldn't have to drive the hour long drive for the third time today.

Thomas loves his Uncle Brian, and told him he would be back at 7:00 in the morning tomorrow.

He won't be--but he loved playing so much he can't wait to return.

Thank you Uncle Brian for wanting to take him. I bet he will stay the whole night next time you invite him.
