Girls Day
While the little man was with his Uncle Brian, and Grandpa was catching up on a side job, we girls spent the day doing (apparently) what girls do best: shopping.
While at the craft store, they had some left over free crafts to do and Gracie made a cute sticker paddle, and while we were looking around (at doll stuff of course) the lady made one for Thomas too!
After A.C. Moore, we hit Khols, Barnes & Noble, Dollar Tree and Walgreens. At all of these places Gracie was completely spoiled by Grandma, and mommy was completely exhausted from carting the eager shoppers all over Lynchburg.
We came back and Gracie got more time in the pool, this time with just mommy. And, I had another surprise up my sleeve.
Lynchburg has a Dollar Movie theater (Which is now $2, but back in my day--of the dinosaurs--it was a $1). Gracie has been dying to see the new Wizard of Oz movie since she saw the previews--but we are bad about going to the movie theater. To our luck, it was playing today. It was too late of a movie for Grandma to venture out with us, and she really wanted to go with Aunt Ruth, but she got me, and seemed to have a good time.
Mommy thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and I thought it was a great prequel to the movie classic.
