Ice Day

A super big thank you to the oldest daughter of our next door neighbor--she made the kids day!

Now, my kids generally get along, but there is only so much time they can spend in the same room doing the same activity without bickering. But, they broke their all time record today!

Hannah braved the iced sidewalks and pavement today (that led to the kids getting out of school) and brought over a gag-Christmas gift she had received.

I had heard great things about Kinetic sand, and as soon as the kids saw the box they were super excited.

I am not exaggerating to you at all when I tell you they spent most of the ENTIRE rest of the day out of school playing with the fun sand, the molds, and all sorts of pretend kitchen utensils.

I did have to divide the sand into 2 containers to lessen the arguments, but seriously, they played with this fun stuff all day.

Mama may have played in it a little too--it really is fun--and relaxing!
