Black & White Day

This year's One School One Book at Mechanicsville Elementary was Mr. Popper's Penguins. And, to celebrate the end of the books (that the kids read at home with family) was a black and white day.

I promise this was all his idea, except the bow tie. He needed a little flair!

How handsome is he?!!!

(And, yes, that blazer is Navy Blue, but it looked black last night when I pulled it out of his closet--so just go with it!)

And, what could make a fun day better?  Eating lunch with best friend Bryce!  Thank you Grace for inviting him to eat with you guys today!
