Story Time And A Craft

You should check your local Barnes & Noble and see when they offer a story time near you. Each store is different, and I think the one near us is Tuesdays (but, I would have to check). We don't go to ours since we have library story-time, and B&N is a little ways out--but it was fun to go today.

We found out story-times in Lynchburg were on Wednesdays when Gracie went Saturday (and got the book we told her she had to earn the money for and Grandma bought...but I digress) so we put it on the "calendar" for the week.

We were the only people there for the story, but it was nice, and they had coloring pages for the kids to pick up after. And, this one has a Thomas The Tank Engine play table, so there was plenty of things to keep little ears and hands busy.

And, as luck would have it, A.C. Moore had a kids craft time for today as well. I did not know they were doing summer kids crafts or we would have been doing them for weeks! What a cute idea. If you have an A.C. Moore, the kids craft is on Wednesdays from 1-3pm.

This week they made clay owls. They came out precious. I am thinking I will put old magnets on the back and display them on the fridge.
