RedBox

So, I am really trying to get our "bucket" filled this summer, and with only 4 weeks left before school--the pressure is on.

Back in June, Gracie's teacher Mrs. Joyner gave me the sweetest gift of a "movie night" in a box.  Well, she included "funds" for a RedBox rental.  We have never done RedBox, but Gracie was more excited about the gift than any of us. (And boy did she pout when her daddy got in to the candy that was in there before we had movie night!!)

So, tonight after bikes, we went into Martin's and got frozen pizzas for dinner (because I still haven't gone grocery shopping since we got back from TN!!) and I let her do the RedBox rental.  She chose Oz, The Great And Powerful--a movie girls we saw last month in Lynchburg and loved.

Thomas didn't quite make it through the whole thing, but daddy did and said he too was surprised how much he liked it and how well it went with the original film.

Thank you very much Mrs. Joyner for the sweet gift of movies and popcorn, and the better gift of a new adventure and family time to make memories!
