Happy Birthday (Party) Emmy!
This precious girl turned the big 0-2 on Thursday, but we got to party with her today!
Emmy's party was at Romp and Roll, a toddler/preschool gymnastics-esque place here in Mechanicsville.
She was so excited for her party and bounced at the door when I arrived with Thomas and Gracie.
Gracie would be the oldest party-goer in attendance tonight, but she was almost as excited as the birthday girl herself. Not only does Gracie love Emmy to pieces, but she longs to do gymnastics (or ballet, or horse back riding, or a myriad of other ridiculously expense girly sports) so badly.
Of course once she got out on the gym floor, I think she quickly realized she was too big for most of the equipment. She didn't complain once (at the party), and kept right along trying to do what she could. Of course being unbelievably bashful she didn't do the songs or games, but she wouldn't have when she was 2 or 3 or 4 or....(you get the idea)
.
Thomas on the other hand was being his usual daredevil self and bounce and left from one apparatus to another. He belted out songs and played right along with any and all activities.
Romp and Roll was a great choice for this feisty now two year old, and she seemed to have a blast all night long!
Thanks for the invite Emmy, and Happy Birthday sweet girl!
