Gracie's Girly Day

Nope, not with me. Poor child did not get a beauty maven/fashionista for a mama. She ended up with a thrifty, crafty, very conservative stick in the mud.  I guess that is why God makes Aunts.

Aunt Dawn had been dying to take Gracie out for a girly kind of outing, and since we don't see her or Uncle Brian very often she hadn't gotten her chance.  Until today.


Gracie and Dawn went and had their nails done, and then apparently went shopping at the mall!  They tried to freak me out by eluding to the fact that they got Gracie's ear's pierced!  Gracie went right along with the "lets make mama have a cow" plan and kept brushing her hair behind her ears to reveal blue butterflies.

Thankfully I wasn't born yesterday and saw the attached metal band--a tell tale sign of clip-ons.

Of course, she has more than one pair, and has already changed them and her outfit twice.

Nope, I never bought my child clip on earrings. Never even thought about it.

Guess who her favorite person is right now?

Although I think I will raise in the ranks as soon as she finds out she is getting to spend the week with Grandma and Grandpa and I am taking Thomas back home.
