Water Fun At The Musuem
Grace asked if we wanted to join her and Bryce and Emmy a the Children's Museum this morning to play in the splash park.
It is so hot! So, I was so on board!
The splash area isn't too large, but it is plenty of room for getting wet.
Bryce and Thomas used every container they could find to fill up and dump out, while Emmy mostly enjoyed snacking and showing off her cute swimwear.
We did the splash park last year and Thomas loved it. I so need to take him to some other water fun places. I was telling Grace I feel like I wasted this week with him. I wanted to go to Cobblestone, and then I thought maybe about the water park at Pocahontas State Park. He loves the water, and with that life jacket of his--I can worry less and he can be fearless.
The kids got plenty soaked before complaining about being done. They of course wanted to go inside and play while Grace and I would have been content to load back up and go home. That place was getting busier and busier by the second, and you all know how much I love crowds!
They each picked one thing inside to do (I bet you can guess Thomas' choice!), before we gathered them back up and headed home.
We kind of caved when we got back to Mechanicsville though. The boys wanted more play time together, so Grace let them play and I went and picked up McDonald's Happy Meals for everyone.
Another fun day with the Whitlock's as usual!
