Tooth Drama

*******DON'T READ CANDICE!!!********* ;) (She has loose tooth issues :)

It was a race this weekend to see whose would come out first.

Well, it really wasn't too much of a race since Gracie's was hanging on by "a thread," but it gave us a chance to cheer Thomas on since he NEEDS to get his out (we are looking at extraction at the dentist office if we can't get 2 of them out :(

So, Gracie won Friday, and then being a show off she decided to loose another one Saturday! So, there are two teeth for the toot fairy to retrieve!

Meanwhile, Thomas had his 6 month check up at the dentist today. The dentist wants a final recommendation from the orthodontist, but it looks like we have used up all our "wiggle room" so to speak in Thomas' mouth. He has 2 baby holding back his new teeth that he lost in preschool, and they need to come out ASAP. So, we may have a less exciting update next month when we get the final word from the orthodontist. Wish us luck!

Oh, but he got a great report today at the dentist--all thumbs up, and he got his first set of real x-rays.

So far Thomas LOVES the dentist and gets excited to go, so you can see now why I am really trying to avoid the extractions--I don't want him to be scared of the dentist or hate to go.
