Dear friends and family:
I know Gracie is young, but I am trying to instill values as early as possible. Over the past two days we have been getting ready for Thanksgiving. She made turkey hand prints and we have been talking about what we are thankful for. I want to teach her why we should be thankful. If you find the time today or this week, if you could email us or post a comment on our blog about what you are thankful for. I plan to read her the list and over the next year talk about why those things might be important to us or to someone else. I think that talking about being thankful and why Thanksgiving is more than just turkey, is a good thing to do even at this early age.
