Keeping Busy
I feel like the Whitlocks as much as we have done this week!
I know, it seems kind of silly to blog about each story time, even though I cherish these as I will have to give them up this fall, but this time I captured some precious song moments in video form. So, I am sharing. Bryce and Emmy joined us again this week. So it is triple cuteness.
The kids craft Workshops are back this year! They got a late start, but each Wednesday from now through August there is a free kids craft at the store between 1 and 3pm. Yea!
This week the kids did Spiro-graphing. So cool (or uncool?) that I did the same thing when I was about their ages. This was a great 80's kids fun. ;)
Thomas got the hang of it super quick. I had to help Gracie a bit, but both kids loved doing the doodles over and over again. And, bonus, they each got different sized middle shapes so they can trade and take turns using both.
Did I mention they get to take the peices home?!
And, of course any summer activity is more fun with friends, and Clara and Jacob joined us for craft time. (Clara's mom Becky and I are both into the "all things free this summer" frame of mind)
Kind of awesome that both kids got time with their best friends today! Another win for mama!
