Graceful Gracie
Another successful Wednesday afternoon at Tumble Tots. Gracie was full of energy and even jumped up and down for 5 minutes before class.
First she was on the beams. She walked across the high beam doing several different tasks including and arabesque. I would love to snap a picture of her on the high beam, but I am holding her hand super tight so I can't. But, I was able to take the above picture while she practiced on the low beam by herself. You can see how proud she is.
Next she was on to the scooters, and then the trampoline, before finishing off the session on the mats. There is where it got a little frustrating for our favorite 3 year old. She could do the forward roll, but when it came to kicks she couldn't get it right away, so she got frustrated. By the time we started pencil rolls, she was in tears. She gets so frustrated and embarrassed. She was fine though, and luckily for me class ended just a few short minutes after that.
Despite a few tears here and there, Tumble Tots have been a HUGE success for Gracie socially and physically. Here in this small apartment she doesn't have a physical outlet. There in the gym they really put them through the paces.
Take a look!
Oh, and thanks to Grandma and Grandpa; Gracie will get to attend another session of Tumble Tots. So, the fun isn't over next week at our last class of the session. Garren and I hope to get her enrolled in the last 2 sessions as well. She needed this, and it is wonderful to see her blossom.
As always, you can see more Tumble Tots pictures here.
