Thomas LOVES Playdough

Lord, does he love play dough!!

The kids and I really had to downsize when we moved here, and so a lot of things had to be gotten rid of. But, I was sure to make space for most of our crafts and activities though. That is the whole reason I stay at home with my kids--to do things with them and help them learn.

(One of these days I will get around to editing and posting pictures of the new house so you can see how much I was able to organize and keep!!)

Play dough was always one of Gracie's favorites, but we hadn't pulled it out in quite a while. So, when it came time to pack up, the actual play dough was dried out and gross and went in the trash. But, I saved the "toys" that go with it.

This week I finally replaced the play dough stash and thought I would let the kids pull it out.

My worst fear of course, was that Thomas would eat it.

But, he didn't. He put it to his mouth once, but I was able to stop him just in time.

He loved squishing his blue stuff, and that is the longest that child has ever sat for ANY activity. I think the kids played at the table with play dough for almost an hour before he got fussy and went down for a nap.

Gracie remained at the table until moments before Thomas awoke from his 2 hour nap!!

I told you it was always her favorite.
