Back To (School) Work

I know it is already July, but I feel like since Gracie got out of school we have kind of been very lax in a summer schedule.

Yes, I know summer and schedule shouldn't be in the same sentence, but my kids, and really all of my family, do better with at least some structure.

So, today I put the structure back in our summer.

We are doing school work (worksheets/workbooks--gotta love thrift store finds!) every day, and we are getting back to those chore charts!

There are lots of free and planned activities for this summer, and there will be more surprises and last minute adventures, but we need some sort of day time plan.  And, I think this will make life around the house for all three of us better and more productive.
