Train Fun
What a fun day our two boys had!
Grace suggested story time at Ashland library this week, and since I had been dying (but never got around to it) to take Thomas to see the train store and the train station I wondered if she would be game to add those stops to our itinerary.
Well, little did I realize that it was all just across the street from the library , and how much fun those boys would have!
Now, Bryce has been to Ashland before, and he had been to the train store too, but there is something about going with your buddy.
The boys got to watch a total of 4 trains pass down the tracks in our time there, and they crossed the tracks, they got train squished pennies (thanks Travis for the idea!), they had lunch together in a place where they could watch the trains go by, and they toured the actual train station and played in the train hobby store.
What a perfect little boy day!
And guess what? There is an actual Train Day in Ashland the first Saturday in November! We HAVE to go!!
