School Day 2

I promise I won't blog for all 180 days, but it is kind of neat to keep up with the happenings of week 1. Plus, it gives me a chance to get as much information as possible to help my mindset.

Of course I get little from Thomas, but really this isn't much of a surprise.  Too bad, it is his information I want the most of!

And, yes, I made both those t-shirts they are wearing. Gracie sported hers on the last day of school in June, but I just made his this past weekend. I loved the idea when I saw it online, but was to cheap to buy it, so I made it myself! :) 

Thomas Day 2 

(Using clues, little info, and reference conversations from Grace who gets way more from Bryce!)

*They had specials today. Thomas had music. There was a boy and a girl teacher (I only know the lady Gracie has had since 1st grade, so I am guessing he is new).  Someone won a prize for listening to rules and playing the instrument right?

*They did go out for recess.

*He told me I forgot his snack. I didn't and showed him where it was in his backpack, but I realize I did forget to do what the teacher told us and supervise and let the kids pack their own backpacks each day.  That is the micro-manager in me.

*He sat next to Bryce for lunch and loved Bryce's new Planes lunchbox

*He made a craft in class. No idea what it is, but he says he made one.

Gracie, Day 2

Gracie isn't exactly a wealth of info, but I got some.

*They had library today, and they couldn't check out books the first week, but next week they will be the first class in the entire school to choose books.

*The other new girl in class loves American Girl too. So she is now friends with both new classmates.

*She wants to print pictures from the roller coasters she rode this summer to put on her reading journal.

*She and her classmates are excited because they made videos about the library for Back To School night and she wants me to see hers.

*They did more about oceans and watched a video.

Eh, I will take all the info I can get. Oh, and no water bottle spills--yea!
